PPF or ceramic for a daily driver in Dubai?

I’m getting a new car soon and I’m stuck between PPF and ceramic coating. Most of my driving will be around Dubai, so I’m mainly thinking about keeping the paint looking decent with all the heat, dust, and random road debris. I’ve read a few comparisons, including one on a UAE paint protection site, but I’m still not sure what makes more sense for a car I plan to keep for several years. The part I’m most interested in is Which coating lasts longer? Paint Protection Film has the top answer, but I’m wondering how much difference that actually makes in everyday use. If anyone here has had either one for a couple of years, did you feel the extra cost was worth it, and how did it hold up with regular washing?
